Most people know Goodwill to be a place where you can find a variety of donated items. For those who have visited, it can be overwhelming at times with all the items they have on the sales floor. (Depending how big your store is.) However, we have some tips on the best items to search for when you visit!
Art/Paintings
Goodwill has a great selection of artwork, wall art, paintings, drawings and more! I have seen items for as low as $1 and have personally spent no more than $8 for an extra large framed wall painting. Anything framed can usually be on the expensive side depending on where you shop. I recommend to always check the art area first to see what goodies you can get.
Kitchen Appliances
Goodwill has Instapots, Kitchen Aid Mixers, Air Fryers, Coffee Makers and more for as low as $15. You can get some great deals on Kitchen appliances that would usually cost $100 or more. I do recommend to thoroughly check any appliance you purchase and be sure all cords and pieces are included.
Plates & Glasses
Here is another gem you can find at Goodwill to be reasonably priced. They offer a large variety of glassware and plates for as low as $1 per item. There are often sets available for as low as $5. You can luck up on some high quality items to add to your cabinet.
Candles
Sometimes hard to find, candles are another recommended item to purchase at Goodwill. You can find some new name brand candles for as low as $1. If you are a candle buyer, then you know how expensive candles can get. Whether you are looking for candles to gift or for yourself, Goodwill is definitely worth a trip.
Home Decor
Goodwill is filled with little trinkets and home decor items that are reasonably priced. Whether you need a vase, statue, lamps, centerpiece or similar, you can certainly find something to add to your living space. I have seen high quality items for as low as $3 which is for sure a deal!

Often located in a separate area or building, electronics are worth a peek if you are visiting Goodwill. They usually offer various electronic equipment from gaming consoles and cameras to laptops and tablets. While you can find awesome deals here, I do highly recommend checking your item for any damage or missing pieces. I also recommend inquiring about any warranty or return policy for a peace of mind.
