Become a Product Tester for Some Big Name Companies!
Did you know there are many companies that often look for product testers? Becoming a product tester requires no skills or qualifications and you can do it from home. You’ll receive free products and offer feedback so companies can make changes and improvements. Not only will you be among the first to know what big manufacturers are working on, you’ll have participated in the influence of a product’s design and got one for free. Below are some companies that look for product testers.
Nike has a product testing program that offers individuals a chance to test sneakers, clothing and accessories. It is on hold for adults and minors at the moment, however it is open for Parents to apply for their children under 12. Check back often as registration opens periodically.
Submit an application and if you are selected, you will receive a test packet to complete. Nike does require you in some instances to send the testing packet back to them. Be sure to read all requirements when selected as a tester.
Adidas also offers a product testing program for individuals 18+ to test sneakers and athletic apparel. Adidas does have some basic requirements to becoming a product tester and the biggest one is that you can not test any competitor products. I'm not sure who they consider a competitor, but be mindful of this.
If you are selected for a test, you will receive an e−mail inviting you to participate. If you decide to participate, the test product will be mailed to you with instructions. Test the product for a required amount of hours/mileage per week for the length of the test period (generally 2−4 weeks). Mail back the test product. (adidas will provide a return label). At the end you will answer a simple online questionnaire.

L’Oreal USA is looking for men and women 18 and older, to use and evaluate cosmetics, skincare, hair care and/or hair color products. The product usage information you provide in the registration form will help them determine which studies are a good match for you to participate in. Participation is compensated with beauty/personal care products which is determined by length and type of study. The Under Armour Field Testing program gives you a chance to test athletic gear. After logging your information as a potential tester, an Under Armour Field Test Analyst screens a database of testers to find the best match for the test product and sends each chosen tester an email. Extra testers are selected to ensure that they have enough testers for the number of test products. Once potential testers have indicated an interest in testing the product, the Field Test Analyst will select a final roster to participate. If you are chosen you will get notification; if you are not chosen you will receive notification of that too.
The Johnson & Johnson Friends & Neighbors program offers the opportunity to test new products at home in exchange for your opinions. Receive invitations to participate in product tests, focus groups, discussion forums and on-line surveys. You could be given the opportunity to test new body wash scents, mascara, dental floss or sampling other household items. With this program you may receive a gift card as payment. Phillips has a product tester program that allows you access to multiple testing opportunities each year. Depending on the type of test you participate in, the products are sent for free or offered at a reduced price. You can keep the product you’re testing, and in exchange, you’ll submit a “comprehensive and meaningful evaluation” and share online reviews. After you’ve registered with the site and logged in, select a test that you are interested in and apply. They will inform you by e-mail if you are selected to participate in the test.
McCormick’s Consumer Testing Program offers the opportunity to give feedback on a range of foods, snacks, and beverages. To be selected to participate, you do have to meet the demographic requirements for the product’s target market. If you’re chosen, you’ll receive an email inviting you to answer a few questions about an upcoming test. After you answer them, their system will let you know whether or not you qualify for that test. You may be asked to sample a range of foods, snacks and beverages—during tasting sessions in the day or the evening—at their Hunt Valley, Maryland, location or from your home. You’ll be paid, of course. How much depends on the type and duration of the taste test, and you can participate up to four times per year.
